What are your contributions to the team?- Support stress in-service repair activities
- Perform various stress analyses on repairs, including static strength, fatigue/durability, damage tolerance, and finite element modeling (FEM) for multi-platform aircraft programs (Challenger and Global)
- Prepare stress reports, including static strength and damage tolerance analyses, for compliance purposes
- Carry out stress calculations to assess design solutions and support repair trade studies
- Review repair engineering drawings and actively contribute to the development of in-service repair solutions by collaborating with various disciplines and stakeholders while considering airworthiness regulations
- Produce and develop repairs that comply with applicable certification and airworthiness requirements, as well as Bombardier methodologies
How to thrive in this role?- You hold a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
- you have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry
- You have experience in Aircraft Structural substantiation analysis: Static, Fatigue/Durability, and good knowledge and experience in structural Damage Tolerance Analysis
- You have experience using Patran/Nastran, Nasgro, CATIA V5
- You have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
- You are a confident, knowledgeable and energetic person with excellent communication and listening skills, able to work in a team environment
- You demonstrate initiative, a strong sense of responsibility and good engineering judgment and a customer oriented mindset
