What are your contributions to the team?

  • Support stress in-service repair activities
  • Perform various stress analyses on repairs, including static strength, fatigue/durability, damage tolerance, and finite element modeling (FEM) for multi-platform aircraft programs (Challenger and Global)
  • Prepare stress reports, including static strength and damage tolerance analyses, for compliance purposes
  • Carry out stress calculations to assess design solutions and support repair trade studies
  • Review repair engineering drawings and actively contribute to the development of in-service repair solutions by collaborating with various disciplines and stakeholders while considering airworthiness regulations
  • Produce and develop repairs that comply with applicable certification and airworthiness requirements, as well as Bombardier methodologies


How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
  • you have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry
  • You have experience in Aircraft Structural substantiation analysis: Static, Fatigue/Durability, and good knowledge and experience in structural Damage Tolerance Analysis
  • You have experience using Patran/Nastran, Nasgro, CATIA V5
  • You have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • You are a confident, knowledgeable and energetic person with excellent communication and listening skills, able to work in a team environment
  • You demonstrate initiative, a strong sense of responsibility and good engineering judgment and a customer oriented mindset
