DescriptionThe City of Springfield's Department of Public Works is seeking qualified applicants for a Professional Engineer in the Transportation Engineering division. There is also a additional opening with the Traffic Engineering division.
Responsibilities will include project management from concept design through construction on various road and bridge capital improvement projects.
The Transportation Engineering Division of Public Works manages the design and construction of public improvements in the City of Springfield including streets, intersections, streetscapes, and bridges. Professional Engineer- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in an Engineering discipline;
AND- Four years of experience in engineering work.
- Engineering experience must be commensurate with assigned specialty area required for current vacancy.
Licensing/Certification- Must possess a Professional Engineer's license;
- Must possess MO license as issued by the Missouri State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers within six months of employment.
