Salary Range: $85,903.20- $104,992.80 annually
New or Existing Position: Existing Position

Your Responsibilities

As a Production System Specialist with the Agriculture and Turf Division in the Edmonton Area, You will develop education material from available resources, communications, and training materials on John Deere equipment / digital & agronomic solutions. You will lead initiatives on specific products and solutions leading to development, delivery and execution of marketing activities. Help develop product strategy, processes and programs to meet stakeholder needs. In addition, you will:
  • Lead the development and delivery of marketing, sales and agronomic solution training to company employees, channel partners and customers on specific products that support a farming system including agronomic, process and product information.
  • Establish the interface with sales branches, factory marketing, product planning and channel partners to provide accurate data and analysis to improve product market intelligence, product performance and promote sales activities on specific products. Provide feedback to other business units on customer and channel partner product improvement requests.
  • Work with the channel and end customer to promote, recommend and optimize product and data solutions to meet the current agronomic trends within the assigned territory.
  • Provide support or marketing assistance to products, parts, or services through phone, internet systems or field reports.
  • Travel regionally or to the US to conduct after sales follow-up visits with channel partners and/or customers.

  • Production agricultural industry experience
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and/or tasks
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
  • Valid driver's license

Education

A Bachelor's degree is required coupled with related work experience in the following:
  • Ag equipment industry
  • Ag input industry

As part of the total compensation package for this position, the incumbent will be provided with the requirements to carry out the duties of the position which may include but are not limited to access to company vehicle or mileage reimbursement, laptop, cell phone and protective equipment.
