ABOUT THE JOBThe mission of Anduril's Mission Systems Division is to deliver integrated sensor, electromagnetic warfare, and autonomous systems that give warfighters decisive advantage across contested domains. As Mission Systems scales from engineering development into rate production and field deployment, we are looking for a Production & Supply Chain Operations Lead to own the operational backbone that turns engineering designs into delivered hardware. This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Division Operations to ensure that production commitments are met on time, materials flow without interruption, and the division can scale output in lockstep with growing demand.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Own production planning and scheduling efforts across the Mission Systems portfolio, translating program milestones into actionable build plans with clear material need dates and labor allocations
- Build and maintain demand forecasts and tooling that connect contract delivery schedules to procurement lead times, production capacity, and supplier commitments enabling buyers to execute build plans
- Drive supply chain strategy and execution - manage vendor relationships, track critical-path components, and proactively mitigate material shortages or lead-time risks before they impact production
- Lead the cross-functional coordination cadence across Engineering, Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and Program Management to streamline design-to-production handoffs and eliminate bottlenecks
- Develop and maintain integrated production tracking tools that provide real-time visibility into build status, yield rates, work-in-progress inventory, and delivery timelines manage across many stakeholders. If you don't like being the person leading meetings with large groups of people or managing large Slack channels to wrangle stakeholders towards a solution, this may not be the role for you
- Translate complex demand, supply chain, and production data into executive-quality operational narratives that inform senior leadership decision-making on capacity investments and make/buy decisions
- Identify and resolve disconnects between program commitments and production/supply chain capacity before they threaten delivery timelines or unit cost targets
- Tackle special projects as needed - from supplier qualification to production line standup to inventory optimization to cross-divisional process alignment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Operations, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Program Management, or Consulting - ideally in a hardware-focused, high-growth environment
- You're a systems thinker who sees the connections between an engineering release, a long-lead procurement, a production schedule, and a field delivery date - and you manage the dependencies across all of them
- You're highly autonomous - you don't wait to be told what's broken; you find the constraint, build the fix, and brief leadership on the outcome
- You have exceptional analytical skills with the ability to model complex production and supply chain data sets and translate them into actionable plans and forecasts
- You're comfortable operating across organizational boundaries, driving alignment between engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams that don't naturally talk to each other
- You have strong written and verbal communication, with the polish to present to senior executives and the directness to drive accountability on the factory floor
- You're both high ownership and low ego - you'll build a capacity model in the morning and chase down a missing shipment from a supplier in the afternoon
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs access to export-controlled data.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with ERP/MRP systems, production scheduling tools, or supply chain planning platforms is a strong plus
