Full Job Description
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our Cleveland team. This highly responsible position provides hourly and daily leadership and support to the production team in order to assure quality products are manufactured and shipped to our valued customers on time and within budget. The Production Supervisor ensures efficient operations and adherence to company policies and procedures. Production Supervisor typically spends 80% of their day engaged on the Manufacturing floor while always operating in a safe work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and health of all employees
  • Work with EHS Leadership to ensure a safe work environment
  • Identify and create plans to correct safety deviations and issues in a timely fashion
  • Responsible for the areas safe handling and disposal of hazardous waste
  • Ensure associates comply with Company policies and procedures
  • Ensure Lean tools are being used (Standard Work, Kamishibai Audits, Daily Management, Cross Training, Kanban, etc)
  • Implementation of lean tools
  • Work with Leads for proper cell staffing and communicating expectations
  • Daily Management of Tier 1 SQDICG process and Cell boards
  • Responsible for implementation of countermeasures for misses to KPI's
  • Disciplinary action when necessary
  • Execute to production work schedules
  • Ensure all employees time and attendance is documented appropriately for payroll following payroll standards and guidelines
  • Conduct annual performance appraisal process
  • Work with facilities maintenance personnel to maintain equipment and address outages
  • Ensure TPM autonomous maintenance activities are completed
  • Work with Operations Manager to recruit and onboard operations team members

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience of 3 years in manufacturing environment
  • 3 years of job-related experience in a Lean manufacturing environment required; 5 years preferred
  • Ability to train others, a strong focus on safety and quality, and a strong sense of urgency
  • Computer skills, MS office, Outlook, ERP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good mathematical and print reading skills

Expected salary: $80,000 - $95,000 annually. The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
