Location: Staunton, VA - In-Office
Shift: 2nd shift
Your Responsibilities:- Monitor production activities to eliminate delays and ensure adherence to production and shipping schedules
- Assist in carrying out production objectives at the lowest cost, consistent with the organization's quality requirements
- Assure safety and product quality while improving production procedures
- Coordinate workflow with the various departments involved
- Report damaged and defective equipment to management
- Train other employees in day-to-day procedures
- Maintain quality/quantity standards regarding output
- Analyze work orders to estimate working hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and external needs
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assign duties
- Plan the flow of materials through department according to work orders
- Interface with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met
- Inspect and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications
- Direct workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products that fail to meet standards
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules
- Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew
- Analyze and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems
- Maintain time and production records
- Assist with capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times
- Other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications:- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of direct supervisory experience (preferred)

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,000 to $108,800 in VA. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
