The Production Superintendent / Production Manager is responsible for leading manufacturing operations, finished product quality, raw material management, workforce development, and continuous improvement initiatives within a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
This leadership role oversees production supervisors, engineers, process technicians, and a large hourly workforce while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations aligned with company performance goals.
The ideal candidate will possess strong manufacturing leadership experience, operational problem-solving skills, Lean manufacturing expertise, and the ability to drive accountability and operational excellence within a high-volume industrial production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Operations Leadership
  • Lead manufacturing operations for a single-line 24/7 production environment
  • Oversee:
    • Product manufacturing
    • Finished product quality
    • Raw material management
    • Production workforce performance
  • Ensure production goals, quality standards, and operational targets are achieved
  • Support facility operations and plant leadership initiatives
Team Leadership & Workforce Development
  • Lead and develop:
    • Production Supervisors
    • Engineers
    • Process Engineering Technicians
    • Hourly manufacturing workforce
  • Manage staffing, performance evaluations, pay reviews, hiring, and corrective actions
  • Develop workforce training and skill development plans
  • Foster accountability, engagement, and operational discipline across production teams
