Full Job Description
The Production Superintendent is primarily responsible for providing operational support to the Small Molecule Manufacturing production plants. Primary responsibilities include: 1) holistically manage the activities associated with manufacturing and process changeovers in order to achieve conformance with production schedules, 2) work closely with operating personnel, supervision, and other support personnel to identify and implement initiatives to reduce errors, increase efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve product quality, and 3) support departmental ESHS activities to eliminate/reduce injuries and process safety hazards.

REQUIREMENTS
3 Minimum 8-10 years of manufacturing or manufacturing technical support experience (a BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required)3 Demonstrated ability to provide tactical leadership of a group to achieve a common objective with a broad range of impact3 Some supervisory experience desired (including coaching employees to improve performance)3 Strong, demonstrated knowledge of Small Molecule Manufacturing business processes3 Demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor others in the department and SMM3 Ability to identify and improve business processes by analyzing data, developing countermeasures, implementing action plans, and monitoring results3 Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization3 Flexibility in hours is required as the role supports a manufacturing plant that operates 24/7/365
