Job PurposeManage material for assembly and welding to production to support the required schedule, in a fast paced and demanding environment, within budget and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the welding and assembly planners.
- Ensure line stocking is supporting the daily requirements based on the production schedule by working closely with the Logistics organization.
- Manage PFEP, JIT/JIS, kitting, kanban and additional supporting databases to ensure accuracy.
- Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of material through various production and distribution processes.
- Assist in the problem resolution and maintain strong working relationships between operations and planning.
- Pursue plant cost reductions where applicable to the team using the Lean manufacturing methodology.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience Required- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or other technical discipline plus 10 or more years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or materials analysis. OR
- High School Diploma/GED plus 15 or more years of direct experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or materials analysis
Preferred Qualifications- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to provide strong motivation, instruction and leadership to team
- Proven experience and success in a demanding and complex environment
- Prior experience in a supervisory role
- Self-starter demonstrates initiative and commitment.
Pay TransparencyThe annual salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
