Total Rewards: Benefits/Incentive InformationJOB DESCRIPTIONGENERAL FUNCTION The New Product Introduction (NPI) Planner is responsible for planning and projecting the release of new products to manufacturing. Daily activities include monitoring manufacturing, procurement, and planning of internally and externally made components for NPI pre-production validation builds. In addition, they will track progress of projects from multiple business groups through manufacturing to ensure lead times are met across the plant.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for NPI qualification build projected dates
- Partners with Manager on all special builds (artist collaborations, quick strikes, etc.) delivery dates and execution within NPI Lab
- Responsible for the on time release of all Oakley Custom and Accessory SKUs
- Plans and prioritizes component production and finished good builds for multiple business groups
- Schedules all non-production jobs through molding area.
- Plans and tracks the painting, cutting, & coating of new components within manufacturing
- Provides daily updates at the Leadership Daily Direction Setting meeting to ensure manufacturing has clear targets and lead time visibility
- Interfaces directly with warehouse team to ensure materials are received and delivered to NPI area on time
- Tracks the purchasing of new and existing components: resins, paint, icons, components
- Responsible for reporting the status of all NPI builds to the cross functional teams
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Engineering related field
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Advanced Skills with MS Excel, MS Access and basic MS desktop applications
- Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Ability to get involved and make experienced planning decisions
- Requires excellent planning, organizational and motivational skills
- Requires tact, judgment and highly developed sense of responsibility
- Strong written and oral communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of Production Planning Experience on a High Volume Manufacturing Environment.
- Master Production Schedule Production Planning Experience on a High Volume Manufacturing Environment.

- Demand Planning Experience
- APICS certification
- Bachelor's degree in business related field
- SAP experience including (BW) Business Warehouse
- Experience using SAP, 3D Drafting Software, PLM
- Bilingual- English + Spanish or Italian
- Familiarity with Oakley product/ brand
- Passion for life outside of work- motocross, mountain biking, golf, surfing, skiing, etc
Pay Range: 70,304.00 - 92,075.13
