Job DescriptionYou will be the Production Operations Project Coordinator (Level 3) for the Precision Fires Production Operations team. Our team is responsible for integrating production operations strategies, developing transition plans, and executing PrSM missile production across multiple Lockheed Martin facilities.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Production Operations Project Coordinator (Level 3) you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver scalable manufacturing solutions and drive producibility across the PrSM program.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead Integrated Product Teams to improve efficiency and meet production delivery dates.
- Identify risks and opportunities early, creating strategies to maximize throughput and manufacturability.
- Develop site capacity plans, proposal estimates, tooling plans, and multi-site execution strategies.
- Analyze program rate increase plans and monitor cost/performance metrics.
- Coordinate FAI, PLV activities, and critical drawing changes with engineering.

• Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence
• An Interim security clearance is required for this role

• Related professional level career experience in production operations.
• Production Operations leadership experience.
• Experience in program execution with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and leadership.
• Experience in capacity & capital planning.
• Understanding and wide application of assembly and Test methods.
• First Unit Flow planning & execution
• Manufacturing & Test Statement of Work and Proposal development experience
• Experience with Make-Buy Generation
• Experience in the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining and material handling.
• Earned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM) Certification or cost analysis experience
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization including to non-technical personnel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of the SAP MRP production control system
• Ability to travel domestic and/or international
• Experience managing, contributing to, and executing proposals and/or affordability initiatives
• Experience with development programs
• A clear understanding of the production processes employed within Lockheed Martin
• Experience with castings and/or additive manufactured parts
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
• Current Active Secret Clearance
Ability to work remotelyPart-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
