Collins Aerospace is looking for a Production Master Data (PMD) Business Analyst. This person is responsible for the governance, quality, and continuous improvement of Collins Aerospace production master data across SAP and associated Digital Technology (DT) platforms. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and DT teams to enable effective processes, drive operational excellence, and ensure robust data governance across the enterprise.
**This is a hybrid-based position at one of Collins’ major facilities. **
What YOU will do:
Governance, accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement of Production Master Data (PMD) objects in SAP, including Material Masters (MM), Bills of Materials (BOMs), Document Info Records (DIRs), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Routings, Work Centers, and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) master data, all strings attached to OPS and PMT,…..

Lead all PMD‑related Digital Technology (DT) activities across systems, tools, and processes, including SAP, ServiceNow, workflow automation, and collaboration platforms.
Serve as the primary bridge between functional business users and DT teams to ensure alignment of requirements, capabilities, and priorities.
Optimize core business processes through the selection, deployment, enhancement, and sustainment of SAP and related DT solutions.
Apply structured continuous improvement methodologies to simplify processes, increase productivity, and support operational and strategic business objectives.
Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align digital capabilities with business strategies, representing the PMD function in enterprise and corporate initiatives.
Act as the primary liaison with DT teams across Security & Compliance, Infrastructure, Functional Delivery, and Project Management.
Leverage deep expertise in Production Master Data to independently resolve complex, cross‑functional issues impacting business units through SAP and supporting applications.
Make sound decisions with minimal supervision, delivering significant impact to day‑to‑day operations and long‑term initiatives.
Analyze business and technical processes to identify improvement opportunities, configure SAP solutions, and perform mass data changes using tools such as LSMW, LTMC, BDLS, MM17, and other S/4HANA mass‑maintenance capabilities.
Provide hands‑on leadership in planning, design, development, testing, and deployment of SAP enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop high‑quality functional specifications, user documentation, test scripts, and training materials to support implementations and process updates.
Execute PMD‑related deliverables within large‑scale Collins Aerospace projects, demonstrating strong tactical and strategic planning capabilities.
Maintain comprehensive PMD documentation, including policies, procedures, standard work, and data‑governance guidelines to ensure data quality, compliance, and audit readiness.
Qualifications YOU Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
Ability to travel approximately 25–50%.
Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced proficiency in Excel and Access.
SAP S/4HANA (or ECC) with deep hands‑on experience in master data transactions and tools:
– MM17, MASS, LSMW, LTMC
– CEWB (BOM maintenance), CG02 (EHS), and Routing/Work Center transactions
ServiceNow (ticketing, workflow, and request management).
SharePoint and similar collaboration platforms.
Data analysis, manipulation, and governance tools.
Process‑mapping methodologies (SIPOC), root‑cause analysis, and Lean principles.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
