Qualifications

• BS in Industrial Engineering or Business Management and 5-10 years of manufacturing management experience.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Experience in plastics extrusion or medical device manufacturing is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000:2001 and FDA GMP guidelines is required.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily walkthroughs of all production areas with a hands-on approach.
• Facilitate daily production meetings with department managers and supervisors.
• Direct and support Melt operations team as needed.
• Aid in implementing new manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Establish and communicate operational standards for efficiency and quality.
• Support staffing, training, and development of team members aligned with objectives.
• Review inventory and manage materials to meet production timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement projects using LEAN methodologies.
