Full Job Description
Responsibilities • Provide leadership and direction to the seal team of Production Associates and Leads • Monitor various metrics related to Safety, Productivity, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Take immediate actions as required to ensure goals are met • Ensure customers receive high quality products that are delivered on time • Develop and provide performance feedback to Associates and make various employment related decisions • Drive ownership of Safety/Quality/Delivery/Cost to shop floor associates and production managers • Demonstrate strategic thinking in regards manufacturing capabilities and capacity • Support lean initiatives that support manufacturing operations - Rexnord Business Systems (RBS) • Utilize lean manufacturing tools & principles to reduce lead times, improve delivery and reduce costs • Utilize 80/20 tools & principles to reduce lead times, improve delivery and reduce costs • Drive employee development and grow cross-functional skill capabilities • Identify and lead facility safety improvement initiatives • Champion quality initiatives that support manufacturing process improvements • Support annual capital expenditures process for capacity growth, cost reductions, etc. • Lead Total Associate Engagement (TAE) • Play a key role in AS9100 QMS support and leadership in the Seal Value Stream Leadership Competencies • Builds Effective Teams - Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals. • Ensures Accountability - Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments. • Manages Ambiguity - Operating effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear. • Persuades - Using compelling arguments to gain the support and commitment of others. • Strategic Mindset - Seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
