Job Description:

We are looking for a results-oriented Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations across CNC, Surface Treatment, and Packaging. This role is responsible for driving safe, efficient, and compliant production while meeting quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

The Production Manager combines hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership, overseeing equipment, processes, and teams in a continuous production environment. This includes ensuring adherence to engineering specifications, SOPs, and regulatory requirements, while partnering cross-functionally to support daily operations, workforce engagement, and new product introduction.

RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Drive daily performance across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.
  • Lead and develop teams, fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, regulatory, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Oversee production operations, including equipment setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and process control.
  • Interpret and execute engineering drawings, work orders, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, reduce lead time, and control costs.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support operations, equipment reliability, and new product introduction.
  • Manage staffing, budgets, and performance, including root cause investigations (nonconformances, CAPAs, customer issues).
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.


Job Requirements:

REQUIRED:
  • 7+ years experience in a supervisory role with non-exempt, hourly employees.
  • Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a regulated medical device environment.
  • Working knowledge of medical device regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC Machining and mechanical background.
  • Knowledge of automation equipment and principles.
  • Excel in teamwork among his/her group and with peer groups.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong sense of urgency.


PREFERRED:
  • Master's degree
  • 5+ years experience in machining processes
  • Experience in a clean room environment (Class 7)


LOCATION:
  • In-office 5-days per week
  • Yorba Linda, CA
