Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production execution.
- Optimize staffing and resource allocation to meet production schedules and business demand.
- Ensure products are manufactured, inspected, stored, and released according to approved procedures.
- Author, review, and approve manufacturing and quality documentation within GMP environment.
- Drive investigations, corrective actions, and compliance activities to support operational excellence.
- Develop, coach, and maintain a qualified production workforce through training and performance management.
- Foster a culture of safety, inclusion, continuous improvement, and inspection readiness.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education, science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum four years of experience in aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing including prior leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience authoring, reviewing, and approving manufacturing and quality documentation.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a production environment.
- Proven ability to drive collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across functions.
Desirable Requirements
- Prior experience or training in radiochemistry or radio pharmacy
The salary for this position is expected to range between $98,700 and $183,300 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
