Arcosa Wind Towers is seeking a
Production Manager. As the
Production Manager, you will support a positive safety culture by planning and directing production activities and staff, you will lead the team in the manufacturing process to ensure quality and timely production.

What you'll do:- Ensures that safety, health, and environmental legal and company standards are complied with, emphasizing safety as a top priority
- Monitors overall plant performance for production and quality standards by developing and reviewing reports and metrics
- Coordinates plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Develops systems and sets performance targets and measures that appropriately assess the performance of the plant and direct reports, and reviews progress to ensure achievement of targets
- Train, instruct and direct work activities of employees; identify succession role requirements and high potential talent, and actively trains key talent
- Monitors schedule to accomplish manufacturing goals
- Demonstrate and model the highest ethical standards and treat all employees and coworkers with dignity and respect. Foster a culture that is positive and engaging for all employees
- Exercises independent judgment
- Fill-in as needed so that production goals can be met
- Other duties as assigned
What you'll need:- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 5 years of progressive experience in a key leadership/management role
- 3-year knowledge of welding, assembly or paint preferred
- Read, write and speak proficiently in English
- Have a working knowledge of the principles and applications associated with manufacturing operations, maintenance and engineering and budgeting/expense management strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Working Conditions:- Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
- This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
- Full-time position, M-F, Mandatory OT can be required including weekends
- Safety sensitive role
- Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds which operate 3 shifts and frequent weekend shifts
- This position frequently requires work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
- Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.
- This position may require infrequent travel, including operation of a company vehicle
