Your impact

As Production Manager, you will establish the vision and direction for shop operations by empowering people, developing talent and creating an environment where safety, quality, accountability and performance thrive.

What you'll be responsible for
  • Provide leadership for all fabrication shop operations while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor supervisors and foremen responsible for daily production.
  • Establish priorities and allocate resources to meet production commitments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity, quality, and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, HR, and Project Management to achieve business objectives.
  • Promote a culture where safety is everyone's responsibility.
  • Make sound business decisions regarding staffing, scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation.
  • Support talent development, succession planning, hiring, and employee performance management.
  • Champion operational excellence while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Physical Requirements
  • Regularly walk the production floor and remain actively engaged with manufacturing operations throughout the workday.
  • Occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, or access equipment and work areas to observe operations and support employees.
  • Maintain the mobility and dexterity necessary to inspect production activities and interact safely within a manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortably work in an active industrial environment that may include varying temperatures, noise, dust, and other manufacturing conditions while following all required safety practices.
  • Occasionally lift or move materials or equipment weighing up to 75 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
