Full Job Description
Siemens Smart Infrastructure | Electrical Products (EP) is seeking a Production Manager to lead a multi-shift manufacturing operation at our Grand Prairie, TX facility with a customer-specific focus.

This role is responsible for strategic coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of production activities while ensuring reliable on-time delivery to our customers.

The Production Manager will drive performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) metrics by coordinating activities across shifts, developing frontline supervisors, and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. This role partners closely with P&O, EHS, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to support site and business objectives.

This position is ideal for a hands-on, floor-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing environment and is passionate about building high-performing teams.

You will make an impact by:
  • Execute against customer commitments, production schedules, and throughput targets
  • Develop, coach, and support supervisors and frontline teams to strengthen leadership capability and engagement
  • Solve any problems that arise during the production process and implement and follow corrective actions and systems that prevent recurrences of issues
  • Monitor KPIs and take proactive action to address performance gaps
  • Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement to increase safety, reduce cycle times, eliminate waste and increase throughput

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive manufacturing or production leadership experience, including at least 3+ years of direct supervision of hourly or frontline production employees in high paced environment
  • Strong skills in MS Office (Excel and/or Access) and strong math skills/background
  • Experience leading a large team in production environment while problem-solving, and communicating daily with the team.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement experience (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, standard work, root cause analysis)
  • Experience in union environment and handling union-related matters
  • Familiarity with workforce systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, Dayforce)

The pay range for this position is $100,603 - $172,462 annually with a target incentive of 10 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
