JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Production Support professional with 7+ years of experience to join our Production Management team in Montreal. This role, requiring a 3x/week onsite presence, will leverage your passion for technology to enhance team efficiency and deliver best-in-class services to clients. The ideal candidate will have exposure to AI tooling and concepts, along with basic cloud and Thought Machine knowledge. This position demands adaptability in a constantly changing environment, strong multitasking abilities, and comfort with the demands of a fully engaged production management role. Key Responsibilities
• Handle production management services including end user support, systems monitoring, incident management, problem management, plant management, and event management.
• Build extensive business and application knowledge required for supporting client-facing applications.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance and usability.
• Develop automation to reduce toil, improve efficiency, and eliminate customer impact.
• Provide root cause analysis with recommendations for improvements.
• Interface with Developers to drive application fixes with right business justification.
• Configure application monitors using industry-standard monitoring tools, as well as developing customized monitoring solutions.

Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in Production Support.
• Strong coding/scripting skills, such as Python.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Distributed Systems.
• Understanding of Database Concepts, SQL Queries, and Database Performance.
• Experience working with application monitoring/alerting tools (e.g., Splunk, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Elasticsearch).
• Understanding of schedulers (e.g., Autosys) and ETL concepts.
• Experience in building and maintaining Production and/or Non-Production environments.
• Experience in development tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet).
• Exposure to AI tooling and concepts.
• Basic certification and knowledge around cloud and Thought Machine.
