An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Leader in our Cypress, CA location. As a Production Leader, you will lead, inspire and coach a team within a defined manufacturing cell. Accountable for ensuring that customer commitments are met in full, measured against agreed HSE, quality, cost, delivery, people and responsiveness standards.
What you will be doing: - Drive a culture of continuous improvement that Puts Safety First and delivers on Zero Harm and Zero Defects objectives including yield targets, safety & environmental targets and promoting wellbeing.
- Accountable for ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with all legislative and technical policies and standards to ensure conformance to the engineering specification, and for promoting a product safety culture in the organization.
- Develop agreed cell cost center budgets (headcount, productivity, absenteeism, consumable cost) and drive improvements in productivity and consumable costs.
- Deliver our products to customer commitments on time by effectively using load and capacity tools and managing bottlenecks and constraints to achieve flow through the cell.
- Ensure that all relevant Production System minimum standards are fully deployed and sustained.
- Inspire and develop the manufacturing team to consistently deliver high levels of performance through effective coaching, training, delegation, and the demonstration of lean leadership behaviors.

Basic Requirements:- Associate degree and 7+ years of experience in operations, planning and control, supply chain, engineering, quality, OR
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in operations, planning and control, supply chain, engineering, quality, OR
- Master's degree 3+ years of experience in operations, planning and control, supply chain, engineering, quality, OR
- JD / PhD, OR
- 9+ years of experience in operations, planning and control, supply chain, engineering, quality in lieu of a degree
- In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
Preferred Requirements:- Companywide outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working
- Understanding/knowledge of multiple disciplines demonstrating breadth of experience
- Appreciation of product integrity with proven track record delivering improved operational performance in both favorable and unfavorable conditions, utilizing cross-functional teams
- Experience of deploying continuous improvement methodologies such as lean and six sigma, ideally with Green Belt accreditation
- Management experience in an engineering industry is ideal, but not essential
