Production Hardware Electrical Engineer
Location: Tucson, AZ
This role supports production operations by troubleshooting complex electrical and electronic systems, driving root-cause investigations, resolving factory and supplier issues, and implementing corrective actions. The engineer will coordinate across cross-functional teams to develop and execute resolution plans, maintain technical documentation, and support manufacturing yield improvements.
Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot production, factory, and supplier-related electrical issues.
• Perform root-cause investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Develop and execute troubleshooting plans while coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Drive issues to completion through ownership, communication, and status reporting.
• Maintain Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and create engineering change documentation using cPDM.
• Present engineering changes to Review Boards and Change Boards.
• Participate in peer reviews across Engineering and Operations teams.
• Utilize lab equipment including:
Oscilloscopes
Logic analyzers
Function generators
Programmable power supplies
Spectrum analyzers
Network analyzers
• Analyze defect and yield data to identify and implement process improvements.
• Support manufacturing and production operations for electronic assemblies.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience with one or more of the following:
Digital electronics
Analog electronics
RF systems
Mixed-signal systems
Electro-mechanical systems
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex circuit card assemblies (CCAs).
• Experience performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
• Manufacturing or production support experience for electronic assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret:
Electrical schematics
PCB layouts
Bills of Material (BoMs)
• Hands-on proficiency with electrical test equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous Raytheon production support engineering experience.
• Experience supporting:
EO/IR systems
RF systems
Sensors/Seekers
Electronic subsystems
• Circuit design and circuit card assembly experience.
• Production support of test equipment and automated test systems.
• PCB fabrication and assembly process experience.
• Subsystem integration and test experience.
• Post-test or flight test analysis experience.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC) experience.
• Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation experience.
• Technical writing and formal presentation experience.
• Experience with:

IDL
CST
HFSS
ADS
• Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership within a small engineering team.
• Experience with cost estimation, reporting, proposal support, and technical oversight.
