Full Job Description
The CNX Production Engineer ensures their assigned assets are optimally configured throughout their useful lives to deliver hydrocarbons from the reservoir to the gathering system through well performance subject matter expertise. This individual will apply engineering fundamentals, advanced surveillance skills, technical analysis, complex problem solving and economics to maximize free cash flow. The Production Engineer will drive process improvement and apply technology to enhance safety, reduce risk, increase efficiencies and skillfully execute while providing capital and expense budgets, proposing solutions and performing project lookbacks. As a contributing piece of the Production Team, this role collaborates with Reservoir and Midstream Optimization Teams to forecast production, identify system opportunities, evaluate scenarios and make solid, data-driven decisions.

NOTE: Position will be filled at a level commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Target Responsibilities:
• Responsibility: Drive safety and environmental compliance through engineering processes and controls.
• Ownership: Lead an interdisciplinary team to maximize asset performance.
• Excellence: Strive for technical advancement and mastery.
• Production surveillance for evaluation of long-term performance, systems optimization and early identification of problems.
• Long-term planning and capital budgeting of capillary string foamer, tubing and plunger-lift phases.
• Provide analyses, troubleshooting and other technical support for Production Operations and other teams.
• Devise remediations and downhole solutions:
o Provide procedures, cost estimates, economics, risks and AFEs
o Provide planning, logistics, coordination and technical support for project implementation
• Lead area and systems reviews with Production (Operators/Foreman/Superintendent), Midstream and Reservoir Teams.
• Provide production parameters to and work with the Facilities Construction Team for technical design and sizing of trees, flowlines, chokes, sandtraps and GPUs.

Minimum Requirements:
• 4-year Petroleum Engineering degree.
• 5 years of industry field experience with preferences for experience in:
o Downhole intervention (rig work, wireline, slickline, coiled tubing, tools)
o Other basins
o Surveillance
o Gas well deliquification
o Nodal Analysis
o Chemicals
o Production facilities units, gathering systems, and compression
• Collaboration with Production Operations, Reservoir, Geology, Midstream, Completions and other functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to confidently present to all stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to field for oversight and support; nights and weekends as required; Office 80% / Field 20%.
• Experience with or ability to learn software including: Aries, Harmony, SNAP, Wellview and MS Office tools.
