About the role

This role is responsible for overseeing scheduling, planning, inventory control, production control, and shipping/receiving operations for the Sulzer Nuclear Service Center. The position works closely with Customer Service and Manufacturing to ensure product availability, optimize production capacity, meet delivery commitments, and drive continuous improvement in operational performance and cost reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage production scheduling and planning activities.
  • Coordinate inventory control processes to support production requirements.
  • Establish manufacturing priorities in collaboration with planning teams.
  • Leads cross-functional discussions to resolve production and delivery challenges.
  • Monitor production capacity and delivery schedules to meet customer commitments.
  • Identify and resolve production and process issues to maintain schedule adherence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
  • Oversee warehouse operations and materials management.
  • Ensure efficient receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping activities
  • Support and participate in LEAN initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.
  • Support company-wide Quality Management efforts.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards.


Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Lead planning, scheduling, production control, and shipping/receiving personnel.
  • Interview, hire, train, coach, and develop employees.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage employee recognition and corrective actions.
  • Resolve employee concerns and operational issues in accordance with company policy.
