About the Job

Title: Production and Facilities Engineer

Location: Texas (with occasional travel to ND, East Texas, and West Texas)

Employment Type: Full-time

Summary:

We seek a Production and Facilities Engineer to support our field operations in Texas, with potential travel to North Dakota, East Texas, and West Texas after the 90-day probation period. This role is critical in ensuring our oil and gas production facilities' efficiency, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate will spend 50-75% of their time in the field, depending on asset needs, and will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and optimizing production equipment and facilities.

Field Operations:

  • Monitor and optimize daily oil and gas production.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment, including separators, compressors, pumps, and artificial lift systems.
  • Perform routine facility inspections to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical or process-related issues in the field.
  • Conduct sound tests and analyze production data to optimize output.


Facilities Maintenance & Optimization:

  • Ensure proper maintenance and integrity of production equipment and surface facilities.
  • Assist in new facility Design installations, modifications, and equipment upgrades.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Support infrastructure integrity efforts, including pipeline maintenance and leak detection.


Safety & Compliance:

  • Always follow company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct safety checks and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
  • Ensure environmental compliance and proper handling of produced fluids and emissions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for regulatory and operational reporting.


Travel & Work Schedule:

  • Primary work location in Texas with 50-75% fieldwork, depending on asset needs.
  • Occasional travel to North Dakota, East Texas, and West Texas as necessary after completing the 90-day probation period.
