About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. While this position is not responsible for daily production management or shoot execution, it plays a critical role in maintaining account health by partnering closely with Production, Post-Production, Studio Operations, and client stakeholders to resolve challenges, improve processes, and support long-term business objectives.

 As the primary day-to-day liaison between the client and our production delivery organization, this role combines strong account management expertise with a working knowledge of photography production operations to ensure seamless execution, trusted client relationships, and sustained delivery excellence under a retainer-based engagement.

While this position is not responsible for daily shoot execution, it plays a critical role in maintaining account health by partnering closely with Production, Post-Production, Studio Operations, and client stakeholders to resolve challenges, improve processes, and support long-term business objectives.

This is role requires regular on-site presence at our New York (Brooklyn) production studios for client meetings, business reviews, and key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders on production-related initiatives.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client teams through proactive communication and partnership.

  • Ensure client needs, priorities, and expectations are understood and effectively communicated to internal teams.

  • Manage escalations and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Account and Delivery Oversight

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of production workflows and account operations.

  • Coordinate closely with Production, Post-Production, Studio Management, Merchandising, Facilities, and Leadership to ensure successful delivery of work in alignment with client expectations and contractual commitments.

  • Monitor project status, resource needs, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.

  • Ensure work is delivered in alignment with agreed service levels and retainer commitments.

Reporting and Business Reviews

  • Develop and present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), KPI reporting, business insights, and executive-ready presentations.

  • Track budgets, forecasts, and financial performance across multiple workstreams while ensuring accurate reporting.

  • Coordinate project timelines and support planning for large initiatives and special photography projects.

Operational Leadership

  • Drive process consistency and operational excellence across the account.

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, communication, and delivery efficiency.

  • Maintain visibility into ongoing workstreams and communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Support capacity planning and resource coordination in partnership with studio and account leadership.

Strategic Support

  • Contribute to account growth and long-term client success by identifying opportunities to strengthen engagement and service delivery.

  • Support leadership in maintaining account health, delivery stability, and client satisfaction.

  • Communicate client priorities internally while balancing business objectives and studio capabilities.

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Services, Program Management, or Business Operations within a creative agency, production studio, ecommerce retailer, or marketing organization.

  • Experience supporting high-volume ecommerce content production or creative operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and cross-functional delivery teams.

  • Strong executive communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.

  • Experience preparing business reporting, KPIs, financial tracking, and client presentations.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting luxury Fashion, Beauty, Accessories, or Retail brands, or large enterprise retainer-based client engagements.

  • Familiarity with ecommerce photography, on-figure and still-life production, post-production workflows, and digital asset creation.

  • Experience presenting Quarterly Business Reviews and performance insights to senior client stakeholders.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience using project management and reporting tools.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
