PRODUCT SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Planning & Execution
  • Develop and maintain short- and medium-term supply plans aligned with the demand forecast.
  • Convert demand plans into production and distribution plans.
  • Monitor capacity, material availability, and production constraints.
  • Support resolution of supply gaps and service risks.


2. Supply Review Process Support
  • Prepare data, reports, and dashboards for monthly Supply Review meetings.
  • Support scenario analysis and supply-demand balancing.
  • Track actions and decisions from Supply Review forums.
  • Escalate risks and exceptions to senior planners/managers.


3. Inventory & Service Performance
  • Track inventory levels, safety stock, and coverage.
  • Support inventory optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor slow-moving and excess inventory.
  • Support service level improvement actions.


4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Demand Planning, Customer Service, Procurement, and Logistics.
  • Support alignment on promotions, new product launches, and volume changes.
  • Participate in IBP/S&OP cycle meetings and reviews


5. Systems & Data Management
  • Maintain supply planning data in ERP and planning tools.
  • Ensure accuracy of BOMs, routings, lead times, and planning parameters.
  • Support system enhancements and reporting automation.
  • Develop proficiency in planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle, OMP).


6. Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support standardization and documentation of planning processes.
  • Participate in improvement projects and digital initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field is required.
  • Master's degree is preferred

Experience
  • 2-5 years in supply planning, production planning, or operations
  • Exposure to IBP/S&OP processes preferred
  • Experience working in manufacturing or distribution environments


Technical Skills
  • Working knowledge of MRP, DRP, and supply planning concepts
  • Experience with ERP or planning tools (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, etc.)
  • Strong advanced Excel and data analysis skills preferred
  • Data analysis and reporting capability using Power BI, Tableau or Sigma preferred
