Job Description

Job Description

As a Product Strategist on the Ecosystem team at Elgato, you will sit at the intersection of product vision, ecosystem architecture, and strategic partnerships. This is not a traditional partnerships role. You will be expected to develop a deep, intuitive understanding of the Elgato product portfolio and the strategy behind it, then identify and execute partnerships with companies that unlock strategic value for our ecosystem. Your primary lens is product: what should we build, what should we integrate, and who are the right partners to make it happen? Partnership execution is a core skill, but it serves the product strategy, not the other way around.

You will work closely with the Senior Director of Ecosystem and cross-functional teams to shape the future of the Elgato platform, from Stream Deck to Wave Link to the Elgato Marketplace. The ideal candidate thinks in systems, understands how products connect to form an ecosystem, and can translate that understanding into partnerships that create real, compounding value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Ecosystem Thinking: Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the full Elgato product ecosystem. Understand the strategic rationale behind each product, how they connect, and where gaps or opportunities exist for new integrations, features, or partnerships.
  • Partnership Identification & Execution: Identify companies, platforms, and technologies that align with our ecosystem strategy. Lead outreach, negotiation, and deal structuring for technology partnerships, software integrations, bundling agreements, and licensing opportunities.
  • Strategic Analysis & Opportunity Mapping: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to surface partnership opportunities that align with our product roadmap and long-term vision.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and legal teams to ensure partnership strategies are grounded in product reality and aligned with company priorities.
  • Product Input & Co-Development: Collaborate with software and hardware teams to shape partnership-driven product experiences. Contribute to product ideation with a focus on integrations that add value to both Elgato users and partners. Ownership is key here with the expectation that you drive new product initiatives from the idea phase to execution.
  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for ecosystem partners. Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships that deliver results over time.
  • Program Management: Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of partnership programs. Track performance, ensure partner satisfaction, and report on outcomes.
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide clear, regular updates on partnership pipeline, strategic progress, and ecosystem health to internal stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in product strategy, product management, business development, or ecosystem development within the technology, gaming, or digital content creation industry.
  • Deep understanding of the Elgato product ecosystem, including Stream Deck, Wave Link, Camera Hub, the Elgato Marketplace, and how they work together as a platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to think in systems: you understand how individual products, integrations, and partnerships connect to form a larger strategic whole.
  • Experience identifying, structuring, and executing technology partnerships, integrations, or platform collaborations.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in deal structuring and contract development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. You can articulate a product vision and sell a partnership story to both internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and with sound judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A genuine understanding of and enthusiasm for the content creation landscape, gaming, and current technology trends.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with platform or marketplace strategy (app stores, plugin ecosystems, developer programs).
  • Familiarity with the streaming and content creation tool landscape (OBS, Twitch, YouTube, podcasting workflows).
  • Experience working with or managing developer/maker communities.
  • Background in hardware-software integration or IoT ecosystems.

What You Will Get
  • Competitive compensation.
  • A leadership team that cares about what success looks like for you and works with you to map out your career development and growth.
  • Enjoy the freedom to express your creativity.
  • Work in a team of positive, passionate, and capable peers who love to work hard and play hard together.
  • International team in Munich, California, and around the globe.
  • Opportunity to flex your creativity in a booming, future-proof industry.
  • Focus on personal development and training in any relevant discipline.
  • Quarterly profit share bonus and discounts on Elgato, Corsair, Origin, and SCUF Gaming products.
