Verdant Specialty Solutions is looking for an experienced Product Stewardship Specialist to join our Technical Services team. This is an onsite role based in Houston, Texas, offering the opportunity to work closely with the teams and leaders responsible for developing, manufacturing, and commercializing our products.

We're looking for someone who can navigate complex chemical regulations, turn requirements into practical solutions, and help our teams bring products to market safely and compliantly.

What You'll Own
  • U.S. chemical regulatory compliance, including TSCA, OSHA HazCom, EPA requirements, FIFRA, and state regulations
  • TSCA activities including PMNs, SNURs, inventory assessments, exemptions, and regulatory reporting
  • Regulatory screenings for new and existing products and substances
  • SDS and product label development and compliance
  • Product registrations, notifications, certifications, and regulatory submissions
  • Regulatory guidance that helps the business understand not just what the rules say, but what they mean for our products and customers

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of product stewardship, chemical regulatory affairs, or regulatory compliance experience in the chemical manufacturing industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Toxicology, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of TSCA, OSHA HazCom, and EPA requirements
  • Experience with SDSs, labeling, and chemical regulatory submissions
  • Someone who can tackle complex regulatory questions, communicate clearly, and collaborate across the business
  • FIFRA, state chemical regulations, EU REACH, or CLP experience is a plus
