Product Sales Manager - Stationary Metrology Summary Job Title: Product Sales Manager - Operations Department: Sales Reports to: Director of Sales About the Role: This role focuses on optimizing sales strategy, forecasting product release, analytics, and cross-functional alignment to drive efficient revenue growth with minimal field involvement. The role will set the foundation for success by managing product-specific targets, systems, and insights, collaborating closely with product, marketing, finance, and leadership teams. Job Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the R&D team (including engineering and product development) to relay aggregated field insights, customer pain points, competitive gaps, usage feedback, and sales data; influence product roadmap prioritization, feature development, and innovation to better align with market needs and drive future revenue. Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering/R&D, and Finance to align on roadmap feedback, messaging consistency, launch support, and resource allocation. Develop and execute the product-specific sales strategy, including go-to-market plans, pricing models, positioning, competitive analysis, and promotional tactics. Manage product revenue targets. Work with the Senior Sales Manager, reviewing individual/team quotas and improving/analyzing territory assignments. Own performance reporting using Salesforce and Power BI tools; deliver accurate monthly/quarterly forecasts and dashboards to leadership. Analyze sales metrics, win/loss data, product adoption rates, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities, risks, and optimization recommendations. Oversee administrative and operational processes: budgeting for the product line, deal approvals, contract templates, compliance, and sales collateral lifecycle management. Monitor the competitive landscape and relay actionable insights to refine product positioning and sales approaches company-wide. Support hiring and onboarding processes for the sales team, including performance tracking systems and process documentation.
