Full Job Description
The Respiratory Product Sales Manager reports to the Manager, Product Sales and serves as a subject matter expert on assigned product lines. This role partners closely with the Sales Team, Marketing, and Product Management to drive product growth, deliver training, and support field execution. The Product Sales Manager is responsible for championing PIP's solutions in the marketplace by equipping sales personnel, distributors, and end users with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed. This position has a territory that consists of MI, OH, KY, WV, PA, MD, DE, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, and ME. Successful candidate may live anywhere in the region.

JOB SUMMARY
  • Support sales objectives for assigned products by providing product expertise and field support to sales personnel.
  • Conduct product training sessions for internal sales teams, distributor partners, and end users.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management to develop sales tools, presentations, and training materials.
  • Assist in launching new products, ensuring effective communication of features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape and provide insights to Sales and Product Management.
  • Gather market feedback on customer needs, product performance, and opportunities for enhancement, sharing findings with Product Management.
  • Participate in forecasting, budgeting, and growth initiatives through data collection and reporting.
  • Analyze and report on product performance and adoption across regions.
  • Represent PIP at trade shows, distributor events, and customer visits as a product expert.
  • Ensure adherence to Company policies and use of CRM and sales technologies to support growth.

CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; technical or equivalent practical experience may be considered.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, product support, or training, ideally within industrial distribution or PPE/safety products.
  • Industrial respiratory experience a must.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and training skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Ability to travel up to 50-60% to support field training, customer visits, and events.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and virtual training platforms.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of time.
