Full Job Description
The Product Research Analyst supports UHN Provider Intelligence product teams by conducting structured research and analysis that informs product discovery, prioritization, and delivery. This role partners closely with Product Management, User Experience, Analytics, and Technology teams to understand internal business user needs, evaluate product performance, and generate insights that support data driven decision making.

The role operates as an individual contributor and is execution focused, emphasizing disciplined delivery, structured problem solving, and reliable production of high quality research outputs. The Product Research Analyst owns defined research deliverables, applies standardized methods and templates, and ensures insights are translated into clear, actionable recommendations that drive product and business outcomes. In addition, the role supports operational quality by monitoring job execution outcomes and defect trends to help identify patterns, risks, and improvement opportunities.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely as Eastern and Central time zones are preferred within the U.S . as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to support Provider Intelligence products, applying standardized research and analytical practices to ensure consistency, quality, and repeatability
  • Support product discovery efforts by contributing to problem definition, hypothesis validation, and opportunity assessment
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize provider, market, and internal stakeholder feedback to identify needs, behaviors, and pain points
  • Support requirements gathering efforts by eliciting, documenting, and validating business and user requirements through research, stakeholder interviews, and analysis
  • Translate research findings and stakeholder inputs into clearly documented requirements, insights, or supporting artifacts to inform product discovery and delivery
  • Translate research outputs into clear, actionable insights that inform product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and experience improvements
  • Partner with Product Managers, UX, Analytics, and Engineering teams to align research and requirements activities with product goals, delivery milestones, and defined success metrics
  • Support product teams by connecting research insights to product outcomes, performance indicators, and business objectives
  • Monitor job execution results, job failures, and defect trends, identifying patterns and recurring issues and surfacing insights to Product and Technology partners
  • Support defect triage efforts by providing analysis, context, and documentation to help inform prioritization and resolution decisions
  • Communicate findings effectively through written summaries, presentations, and storytelling tailored to stakeholder audiences
  • Manage multiple initiatives concurrently by planning, prioritizing work, and communicating progress, risks, and dependencies
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of product research, requirements, and operational monitoring standards, templates, and best practices within UHN Provider Intelligence

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience conducting product, customer, or user research in a product, analytics, or healthcare related environment
  • Proven excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into practical, actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with cross functional partners
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance while delivering reliable, high quality outputs


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with structured data, dashboards, logs, or operational reporting used to monitor job execution and defects
  • Experience working in an agile or iterative product development environment
  • Understanding of provider workflows, operational processes, or healthcare analytics concepts
  • Familiarity with product discovery, requirements gathering, UX research, or analytics methodologies
  • Experience working with Aha (the product strategy and roadmap management platform) and Rally

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
