Store Allocations Professional Services Product Owner

What You'll Do

The Store Allocations organization is focused on modernizing multiple legacy applications into a global cloud-based suite of products over a multi-year transformation journey.

As a Product Owner within the Professional Services Scrum Team, you will support a SAFe Agile team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), delivering features and enhancements that onboard business divisions onto modernized solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring customers receive the right products at the right store at the right time through innovative allocation and supply chain solutions.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Prioritizing and managing the Scrum Team backlog.
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements, including current-state ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") processes.
  • Writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Leading Sprint Planning sessions and actively participating in all Agile ceremonies.
  • Preparing and presenting Sprint Reviews and product demonstrations.
  • Coordinating releases and supporting implementation activities.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business value.

You will drive optimal team performance by maintaining a backlog of well-defined, prioritized, and estimated user stories. This role ensures that team commitments are achievable, business objectives are met, and delivery remains aligned with product goals.

The role requires close collaboration with Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Developers, QA teams, Architecture, Security, Supply Chain, and business stakeholders responsible for defining product vision and strategy.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner within a dedicated Agile team.
  • Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and user story writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated success as a self-starter with strong organizational skills.
  • Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies, frameworks, and practices, including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
  • Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or similar Agile certification.
  • Retail and/or Supply Chain business process knowledge and experience.


Preferred Skills
  • Experience working on enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with cloud-based applications and modern product delivery practices.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and business functions.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and release planning.


Mandatory Skills: Retail - Merchandizing.

Experience: 8-10 Years.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 100000 to CAD 150000 .
