Industrial Park Road Job Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: • Collaborate with business users to understand needs and translate into product requirements. • Collaborate with IT and product management teams to develop cohesive product vision throughout the process. • Execute a product roadmap aligned with strategic goals. • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, adapting to evolving requirements and business priorities. • Oversee all phases of the product lifecycle, from design through development and delivery. • Monitor product progress, ensuring milestones are met and solutions are developed to align to business needs. • Communicate updates and status reports to product teams and users. • Participates in Scrum meeting and product sprints. • Identify project tasks and develop timelines. • Contribute to the development and implementation of goals, policies, procedures, and priorities for defined application. • Recommend, develop, and administer policies and procedures. • Engage with vendors to negotiate software and hardware procurement, ensure contract compliance, and consult on system functionality and maintenance. • Collaborate with IT management teams and align cross functional teams to ensure cross-team synergies while meeting corporate objectives and requirements. • Participate in the development of business strategy and planning to ensure appropriate resources, budget, and tools to provide the highest level of customer service. Ensures appropriate resources are available to respond to customer inquiries/issues. • Promote a culture of continuous improvement using data-driven insights and root cause analysis. • Ensures adherence to established corporate and department standards, policies, and procedures. • Collaborate with the IT Management Team in developing and adhering to the annual budget for equipment, software, services, training, and other needs. Create capital requests and purchase orders for third party products and services. • Validate and approve the payment of appropriate invoices related to the Software Product in accordance with approved financial policies and practices. Supervisory Responsibilities The Product owner does have direct supervisory responsibility but plays a key role in guiding development teams, subject matter experts and stakeholders. The Product Owner provides strategic direction on throughout the product development process to ensure alignment between business goals and product outcomes.
