Full Job Description
ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Product Owner, Total Fund Solutions, you will:  

  • Act as the main point of contact and identify customer needs with internal stakeholders

  • Ensure the establishment, maintenance and communication of the product roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders

  • Collaborate with the Value Chain Architect to keep up with technology trends

  • Document business cases and milestones, including expected benefits

  • Track and manage the allocated budget

  • Manage, structure and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with customers and the delivery team

  • Articulate customer needs and their value to delivery teams during agile sessions, while maintaining a focus on higher-value increments aligned with product strategy

  • Manage customer delivery expectations and take action to meet delivery deadlines in collaboration with other TDO agile teams

  • Remove delivery barriers under your control or report issues to managers to ensure on-time delivery

  • Contribute to business analysis and solution documentation

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education and experience, graduate studies (M.Sc.) an asset

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the investment field or experience related to pension funds, experience related to strategic portfolio construction a strong asset

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an agile environment

  • Excellent organizational skills and hands-on experience in managing product lifecycle stages (e.g., CVDL)

  • Product Owner Certification an asset (e.g., PSPO, etc.)

  • CFA or FRM certification, an asset

  • Good active listening skills and communication skills (oral and written) and presentation skills

  • Team player and ability to collaborate with a positive attitude

  • Ability to think critically and solve problems

  • Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our Hong Kong, London and New York offices, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
