Job Description

Agile Product Owner

Product Focus - Financial Experience
Reporting to: Director, Product Management
Location: United States (Candidate must reside in CST or EST time zones)

Visa Sponsorship: Any form of Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.

In this role, you'll lead the ideation and execution of Enliven Health's financial experience solutions, helping patients better understand, manage, and act on the financial aspects of their care-while enabling providers and pharmacies to deliver more transparent and trusted experiences.

What You'll Do

As an Agile Product Owner supporting Enliven Health's Finance Experience portfolio, you will translate product strategy into clear, execution-ready work for engineering teams and ensure consistent delivery of business value.

You will:
  • Translate the Finance Experience roadmap into a well-defined, prioritized backlog, ensuring engineering teams always have clear and actionable work.
  • Establish strong backlog planning discipline by ensuring stories are created, refined, and prioritized ahead of development cycles, not during sprints.
  • Partner with Engineering and QA to ensure 8-week PI planning readiness, with committed work clearly defined, estimated, and sequenced.
  • Proactively identify and manage cross-team dependencies to support predictable, on-time delivery.
  • Work closely with Product Management to translate roadmap priorities into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, with a focus on financial solutions and patient experience outcomes.
  • Assign business value to user stories to support prioritization, trade-off decisions, and sprint planning.
  • Define sprint and release goals aligned to roadmap commitments and communicate priorities and context clearly to the scrum team.
  • Review completed work against acceptance criteria and the definition of done, accepting or rejecting stories as appropriate.
  • Ensure each sprint delivers incremental, testable business value aligned to product objectives.
  • Partner with engineering to surface gaps, defects, or backend process issues and translate them into actionable backlog items.

Who You Are

You bring strong execution discipline, technical curiosity, and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to operate at the intersection of product strategy and delivery.

You have:
  • A solid understanding of industry, market, and product trends impacting competitiveness.
  • The ability to stay current on business and market insights to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering, product, QA, and business partners.
  • The ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a structured and organized manner.
  • Demonstrated strength in maintaining a clean, well-prioritized backlog across one or more product areas.
  • Working knowledge of supported products, including backend processes and system interactions.
  • A data-informed mindset, with experience measuring customer satisfaction and delivery effectiveness.
  • A growth-oriented mindset, continuously seeking to improve product outcomes and personal development.
