Full Job Description
What you'll do
  • You will report to the Senior Solutions Architect
  • Product owners will preparation and participation in Program Increment Planning. Based on input from the team Scrum Master (SM) or team architects, creates Stories for enablement work that is necessary before beginning the feature work. Meets with their team(s) to expand solutions with team-level details stories and dependencies. With the support of the team Scrum Master, team leads, or other Product Owners, provides clarification necessary to assist the team with their story estimates.


Support Iteration Execution
  • Maintain and refine teams backlog of requests
  • Given direction from a Senior Product Owner or Product Management, adjusts the backlog priorities as necessary.
  • With the support of the Senior Product Owner or a team architect, adds detailed acceptance criteria prior to any team discussions.


Support Iteration Planning
  • For their assigned team, leads iteration planning meetings. Is responsible for connecting with other POs or PM to get additional Story details.


Just-in-Time Story Elaboration
  • With support from their SM, ensures their team is leveraging valid test data and User Interface designs.
  • For their assigned team(s), is responsible for answering real-time questions from the team. Relies on team architect or other leads to provide guidance in the cases where the Junior Product Owner doesn't have full context of the solution.


Provide Story Acceptance
  • With the support of team leads and their SM, is responsible for ensuring their team(s) component delivers the intended functionality.
  • For their assigned team(s), makes time for Story demos and provides final acceptance of the Story. Includes other POs or team leads in the demo to gather additional feedback.


Understanding of Work Enablement
  • Works with SM and team architect to identify enablement work necessary so that the team can effectively execute on the upcoming Stories.
  • Keeps the Senior PO or Value Stream Architect informed regarding results from the enablement work.


Program Execution
  • With the support of a team architect, is responsible for reviewing the Feature Overviews in the Release Notes
  • Participates in bi-weekly System Demos


Inspection and Adaptability
  • Provides feedback to the SM to define and implement improvement stories that will increase the velocity and quality.


You should have
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Minimum of 3 years IT experience
  • 1-3 years Product Owner experience, Scrum Master experience, or equivalent experience
  • Product Owner experience with B2C and B2B applications advantageous
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
$81,850.62-$130,958.25

This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
