Full Job Description
The Royal Caribbean Group's AI & Analytics Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Product Owner, GenAI reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Data & Analytics Platforms.

The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida.

The position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.

Position Summary

The Product Owner, GenAI is responsible for shaping and executing the strategy for the Gen AI Center of Excellence (COE), ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving measurable value through AI-powered solutions. This role manages the intake of business requests, demand management, prioritization, and delivery of innovative AI-driven products across Royal Caribbean Group. The Product Owner acts as the primary interface between business teams and AI development, providing leadership in product management and fostering a collaborative environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for business teams to intake requests related to AI and data analytics projects; oversees demand management to align business priorities with AI capabilities.
  • Leads the development and management of the product roadmap for AI solutions, prioritizing features and tasks based on business impact, technical feasibility, and resource availability.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and development teams to define AI product requirements, success criteria, and ensure timely communication of project status.
  • Works with AI development teams to define, develop, and deliver AI-powered products and solutions; oversees user acceptance testing and ensures quality standards are met before deployment.
  • Drives a culture of continuous improvement within the COE, identifying opportunities to optimize processes, tools, and AI capabilities; monitors post-deployment performance.
  • Oversees integration and usage of key AI tools and platforms including Azure Databricks, Mosaic AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure Machine Learning, Power BI, and Azure AI Services.
  • Identifies potential risks and issues with product delivery; ensures proactive management of dependencies, risks, and blockers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Fosters a collaborative environment among data science, engineering, and business teams; provides thought leadership on AI trends and supports growth of junior team members.


Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant certifications in product management, AI, or data analytics are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML-driven products.
  • Experience with demand management, intake processes, and product prioritization in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong familiarity with AI tools and platforms such as Azure Databricks, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and other Microsoft AI solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle including data ingestion, model development, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and technical teams.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to foster cross-functional teamwork.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and support for junior team member growth.
