Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to define, build, and own the roadmap for wealth management platforms while aligning product capabilities with business objectives and client needs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Wealth Management, system integration using APIs and data, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role requires strong communication, decision-making, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define, build, and own the roadmap for wealth management platforms, aligning with business objectives and client needs.
• Translate user needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria while maintaining a prioritized product backlog.
• Represent and communicate the product vision to Scrum teams.
• Lead functional grooming of user stories.
• Serve as the focal point for pre-sprint and in-sprint inquiries from the sprint team.
• Confirm that technical architecture and technical design align with short-term and long-term product vision.
• Execute the acceptance process for user stories.
• Partner with advisors, marketing, compliance, and technology teams to deliver high-quality and secure products.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Guide the team in producing high-value and scalable solutions.
• Translate business strategy, business goals, and business processes into technical IT solutions.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
• 5+ years of experience in Wealth Management.
• 5+ years of experience with system integration using APIs and data.
• 5+ years of experience with Scrum methodology and tools such as JIRA.
• Strong understanding of standard SDLC processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, decision-making, and self-management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, both internally and externally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with databases using SQL and PL/SQL to create queries and validate data.
