Job Description:Parsons is seeking a dedicated and experienced Product Owner with a strong background in enterprise software development to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be an integral member of a growing Agile team, guiding the development of critical mission applications for the C2 AOC community as part of Parsons' Mission Software Directorate. Your leadership and vision will drive the product strategy and ensure alignment with the needs of our stakeholders and the overall mission objectives.
Objectives of this role- Lead team scrums to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project
- Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
- Work closely with product managers and business teams to create and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI
- Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management
Responsibilities- Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog
- Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they're clearly understood by relevant teams
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
- Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals
- Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
- Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions
Required skills and qualifications- Five or more years of experience in product development
- In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management
- Understanding of business value related to features and functions
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders
Preferred skills and qualifications- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in related discipline
- Proficiency with applicable project management tools and technology
Security Clearance Requirement:An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
