GE Appliances is seeking a Product Marketing Senior Manager - HVAC, to lead the commercial marketing strategy for the HVAC portfolio, partnering with Market Insights, Product Management, Brand, Merchandising, Pricing, Sales, and Customer Service to drive business outcomes. You will lead cross-functional commercialization across Retail, Contract, and Pro/HVAC channels, ensuring HVAC priorities are embedded in NPI and delivering go-to-market programs that drive revenue, share, and growth. Position Product Marketing Senior Manager - HVAC Location USA, Louisville, KY How You'll Create Possibilities • Lead cross-functional commercialization efforts across Consumer Operations and Commercial teams for HVAC, ensuring alignment and execution across Retail, Contract, and Pro/HVAC channels. • Define and execute channel-specific merchandising strategies across Contract, Pro, digital, and brand touchpoints to optimize customer experience and conversion. • Synthesize industry, competitive, and homeowner insights to inform product positioning and go-to-market strategy. • Partner with Product Management and agencies to lead commercialization for NPI and existing products, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery of go-to-market assets. • Own go-to-market planning and field enablement for new product launches, including development of sales tools and communication packages. Ensure consistent, compelling messaging across the HVAC portfolio and across in-store and digital channels. • Lead content strategy and asset management processes for HVAC products across systems and channels. • Oversee development of product content (imagery, features & benefits, specifications, and descriptions) and ensure accuracy and consistency across systems (e.g., MDM, MML). • Lead development of sales and marketing collateral across Retail, Contract, and Pro/HVAC channels, including full-line catalog coordination. • Ensure integrated execution of marketing, sales, and training materials across print and digital channels, tailored to distinct customer segments. • Support planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, and training initiatives. Preferred Competencies: • Working knowledge of Adobe, Photoshop, Salsify and other creative design suite products Requirements • BA/BS degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 7 years of Sales, Commercial/Marketing, National Account, or other relevant experience. • Experience leading or supporting go-to-market strategy, product launches, or commercialization efforts. • Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization, partnering with teams such as Product Management, Sales, Brand/Marketing, and Pricing. • Demonstrated ability to translate customer, market, or competitive insights into actionable business strategies. • Experience developing marketing or sales enablement materials across multiple channels (e.g., retail, digital, distributor, or contractor networks). • Strong project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on time. Preferred Characteristics • Experience in HVAC, durable goods, consumer products, or other relevant adjacent industries. • Experience working with external agencies, vendors, or creative partners. • Experience supporting or leading merchandising, digital content strategy, or product information management (PIM) systems. • Familiarity with multi-channel or omni-channel go-to-market models (e.g., retail, e-commerce, distributor, contractor/pro channels). • Experience contributing to or influencing product positioning, pricing, or portfolio strategy. • Exposure to demand generation activities such as trade shows, training programs, or field sales enablement. Working Conditions & Travel Requirements • Working conditions are typical for an office environment. • 10-15% ongoing travel for trade shows, customer visits, and visiting training centers may be required at times.
