Role Description: As a Product Marketing Manager at myKaarma, you'll own how new features and products reach the market, from planning through adoption. You'll partner closely with Product as a strategic thinking partner, helping shape how and why features launch and asking the hard questions that set each launch up for success. You'll work alongside Sales, Performance Management, Support, and other customer-facing teams to make sure they're ready on day one, and you'll build the campaigns that drive awareness, adoption, and utilization among the dealerships we serve.
myKaarma's service lane platform helps auto dealerships run and grow their fixed operations, so the launches you lead will directly shape how thousands of service teams work every day. This is a high-visibility role on a small, collaborative team, with real ownership and room to grow.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic partnership: Act as a strategic thinking partner to Product and cross-functional teams, helping shape how and why features go to market, not just when.
- Challenging assumptions: Ask the difficult questions early, pressure-testing customer value, target audience, readiness, and success metrics before launches are locked.
- Go-to-market and launches: Plan and run feature and product launches end to end with Product, including launch tiers, timelines, cross-functional checklists, and readiness reviews.
- Positioning and messaging: Translate product specs and release notes into clear, benefit-driven messaging for dealership users and decision-makers, and keep it consistent across channels.
- Internal team enablement: Create and deliver launch enablement so Sales, Customer Success, and Support can sell, support, and drive adoption confidently.
- Customer awareness: Develop customer-facing launch content such as release announcements, emails, in-app messaging, help content, and webinars.
- Adoption and measurement: Define success metrics for each launch, track post-launch adoption, and recommend course corrections where results fall short.
- Market and customer insight: Gather feedback from customers and internal teams, and turn it into recommendations that influence future product and go-to-market decisions.
- Content and proof: Support case studies, customer stories, and data-backed proof points that show the impact of new features.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Product adoption drivers and common tactics for increasing feature usage
- Buyer persona and value proposition development
Nice to Have Skills & Qualifications: - Experience with in-app messaging or product adoption tools (e.g. Appcues)
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms
- Exposure to automotive retail, dealerships, or fixed operations

How to Stand Out: Here's a scenario to illustrate the kind of thinking we value:
Q: "Product tells you a new feature is shipping in three weeks. Beta feedback has been mixed, and Sales is already promising it to customers. What would you do?"
We'd love to hear something like this...A: "First, I'd sit down with the Product Manager to understand what the beta feedback is actually saying. Is it a usability issue, a gap in the feature, or a mismatch with who we tested it on? That tells me whether we're ready for a full launch or should start with a smaller group of dealers. I'd also want to agree on what success looks like 30 and 90 days out, so we're measuring adoption and not just the ship date. Next, I'd get ahead of Sales by giving them clear talk tracks on what the feature does today, who it's best for, and what's still coming, so we're not overpromising. Then I'd build the customer awareness plan around the dealers most likely to get value first, track adoption closely, and bring what I learn back to Product to shape the next iteration."
This approach reflects your ability to think strategically, ask the right questions early, and turn every launch into real customer adoption and success.
We know great candidates don't always match every requirement. If this role excites you and your experience aligns with many of the qualifications, we'd encourage you to apply. Skills can be learned-we also value curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to grow.
