Product Marketing Manager

Position Summary

Analog Devices is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, business growth, and commercialization of the Controller Solutions Division (CSD) portfolio, with primary responsibility for Hybrid Controllers, Charge Pump Controllers, Bi-Directional Controllers, and Buck/Boost/Buck-Boost/Bi-directional controller solutions. This role will drive portfolio strategy and customer engagement across broad-market industrial, automotive, aerospace & defense, automation, robotics, and emerging humanoid applications. Responsibilities align with ownership of CSD controller strategy, hybrid controller initiatives, and broad-market growth opportunities.

The successful candidate will serve as the market and customer advocate, translating emerging application requirements into differentiated product roadmaps while driving revenue growth, strategic design wins, and long-term portfolio investments. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and customer-facing leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership
  • Own the business strategy, product roadmap, and marketing execution for the Controller portfolio
  • Define and execute portfolio growth strategies aligned with emerging market opportunities and customer needs.
  • Develop business cases, market requirements documents, and long-term investment plans for new product development.
  • Manage product lifecycle activities to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Identify adjacent market opportunities enabled by wide band-gap solutions (GaN), advanced power architectures, battery backup systems, and intelligent power management technologies.


Market & Customer Leadership
  • Engage directly with strategic customers, system architects, and engineering teams to understand future power system requirements.
  • Establish trusted relationships with customers across Industrial Automation, Robotics and Humanoid Robotics, Automotive Electronics and Electrification, Aerospace & Defense, Energy Storage Systems, Communications Infrastructure, amongst others
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable product definitions and roadmap priorities.
  • Support executive-level customer engagements, roadmap reviews, and design-win activities.


Business Management
  • Own revenue, forecasting, design-win pipeline, and growth objectives for assigned product families.
  • Monitor business performance, customer adoption, market trends, competitive positioning, and profitability.
  • Develop market models including TAM, SAM, and SOM analyses for targeted growth segments.
  • Drive business reviews and portfolio updates with senior leadership.


Product Definition & Commercialization
  • Partner closely with engineering, applications, and product definition teams to develop next-generation controller solutions.
  • Influence architectural direction based on customer requirements, competitive analysis, and return-on-investment considerations.
  • Drive release-to-sales (RTS) readiness for new products and technology platforms.
  • Lead product launches, positioning, pricing recommendations, customer communications, and sales enablement activities.


Go-to-Market Execution
  • Develop value propositions, product messaging, and competitive positioning strategies.
  • Create customer-facing collateral, presentations, competitive analysis, and sales training materials.
  • Support strategic design-win pursuit activities and key customer qualification efforts.
  • Collaborate with field sales and applications engineering teams to accelerate opportunity conversion and revenue growth.


Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
  • Monitor industry trends and technology developments.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and develop portfolio recommendations to maintain technology leadership.
  • Provide market insights that influence portfolio investment decisions and future technology roadmaps.


Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Product Definition, Engineering, Applications, Operations, Finance, and Sales organizations.
  • Drive alignment on product priorities, customer engagements, launch readiness, and resource allocation.
  • Influence stakeholders without direct authority and ensure execution against strategic business objectives.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, Business Management, Applications Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related semiconductor industry roles.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • DC-DC Power Conversion
    • Power Management ICs
    • Industrial and Automotive Power Solutions
  • Demonstrated experience developing product strategies and bringing semiconductor products to market.
  • Strong customer engagement and presentation skills with the ability to interface at both engineering and executive levels.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional teams and influence product direction.


Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or advanced technical degree.
  • Experience working with OEMs, industrial automation companies, automotive customers, aerospace & defense contractors, or robotics system developers.
  • Understanding functional safety, reliability, and system-level power architectures.
  • Experience with wide band-gap intelligent power management, and advanced control solutions.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $150,978 to $218,624.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
