Product Marketer - Talent & Skills Intelligence Platform | Hybrid - Princeton, NJ | Open to local NJ-based candidates onlyRole Type: Full-time employee
Location: Hybrid - onsite in Princeton, NJ, with flexibility to work from home two days a week
What you'll do:- Own product launches end to end: define the story with the founder, build the plan, create the assets, run the moment, measure what landed
- Turn the company narrative into market-facing material: website copy, decks, one-pagers, campaigns, and product messaging that stays consistent everywhere the product shows up
- Own the self-serve funnel: sign-up flow, onboarding communication, in-product messaging, and the conversion path from first touch to active use
- Run market review as a discipline: track the category, watch competitors, listen to customers and analysts, and turn what you learn into a regular written read for leadership
- Identify and develop partnership and channel opportunities that extend our reach, and run a regular channel review of what's working
- Operationalize marketing: build the calendar, cadences, tools, and metrics so marketing runs as a repeatable system with a clear read on what each program returns
- Build deep fluency in the skills, learning, and talent domain, enough to write and speak about it with credibility
What you bring:- 5+ years in marketing or product marketing, with meaningful time at early-stage startups
- At least one product taken from zero to its first paying customers, and the ability to walk through what shipped, what worked, what failed, and what you'd do differently
- Daily fluency with AI tools across the stack: research and writing assistants, AI creative and design tools, and AI-assisted campaign production
- Excellent writing, with the ability to shift register from a website headline to an enterprise one-pager without losing the thread
- Comfort with data: reading funnel numbers, building a simple analysis, and telling the story behind it
- Preferred: working knowledge of the HR/talent ecosystem (HRIS, LMS/LXP, skills taxonomies); experience marketing a product-led, self-serve SaaS product; exposure to enterprise B2B buying
If you want to build the market presence for a product from the ground up, and you'd rather see your work live within days than sit in a review cycle, we'd like to talk.
