Full Job Description
Description

Ria Money Transfer (NASDAQ: EEFT) is looking for a Product Engineering Manager to lead the technical development of our internal product portfolio. This team builds the critical engines that power our business operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivery. You will manage a team of Product Engineers dedicated to shipping high-quality internal tools that support our Compliance, Marketing, and Operations stakeholders.

Additionally, you will lead the adoption of modern development practices-specifically AI-assisted coding workflows ("vibecoding")-to help your team deliver faster and more efficiently.
What You Will Accomplish

Lead the Internal Tools Vertical
You will recruit, mentor, and lead the engineering team responsible for our suite of internal products. You will partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to ensure we are building robust solutions for Pricing, Fraud, and Compliance that meet the evolving needs of the business.

Enhance Team Velocity with AI
You will introduce and standardize AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) within your team . Your goal is to help your engineers reduce boilerplate work and focus on solving complex business logic, enabling the team to meet aggressive deadlines without burnout.

Modernize Technical Delivery
You will ensure our internal tools are built on a modern, scalable stack (TypeScript, Next.js, Serverless AWS). You will maintain high standards for code quality and reliability, ensuring these business-critical applications remain stable and secure.

Bridge the Gap Between Product & Engineering
You will act as the technical partner to the Product organization. You will help translate complex business requirements from non-technical stakeholders (e.g., Compliance officers) into clear technical roadmaps, ensuring that what we build delivers immediate value to the organization.
What We Are Looking For
  • Engineering Leadership: 6+ years of experience in software development, with a track record of leading teams that build internal tools, dashboards, or B2B platforms. You understand the nuances of building software that supports business operations.
  • Modern Stack Expertise: Strong familiarity with the TypeScript ecosystem (React, Node.js, Next.js) and AWS Serverless architectures.
  • AI Tooling Familiarity: Experience using AI coding assistants in your own workflow. You understand how these tools can assist developers in writing tests, documentation, and refactoring code, and you are excited to help your team leverage them.
  • Operational Focus: You care about reliability and uptime. You understand that tools like the Fraud Center or Compliance Center are critical to the company's daily operations and require a steady hand.
  • Collaborative Mindset: You work well within an established engineering organization. You know how to align with broader company architectural standards while still pushing for efficiency within your own team.
Why Join?
  • High-Value Projects: The tools you manage (Fraud, Pricing, Compliance) are the backbone of our operations. Your work directly impacts the efficiency of the business.
  • Modern Environment: You will have the opportunity to build with a modern stack (Next.js, Serverless) and leverage new tools to help your team succeed.
  • Stability & Resources: We offer the agility of a focused product team with the backing of a NASDAQ-listed company.
