Product Manager

The Opportunity:

Manages strategic and business decisions related to product or product group creation, development, positioning and marketing. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with operations or product management in the defense industry or Special Operations community

  • 10+ years of experience developing growth or intelligence strategies

  • Experience with leading the strategic development and planning of Army missions and operations

  • Experience with leading joint and interagency sensitive operations

  • Knowledge of Special Operations airborne, medical, logistic, and tactical operations

  • Ability to identify and establish regular communications with DoD Special Operations personnel who are stakeholders in the resulting system

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Graduate of Joint Special Operations Senior Enlisted Academy

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working with U.S. Army Program Management offices, including successful development, acquisition, and operational fielding of Special Operations specific equipment

  • Experience with employing Mobility, Soldier Systems, Target Evaluation, Visual Augmentation, or Breaching specific equipment, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) in a combat environment

  • Knowledge of managing organizational training programs, including course and schedule development

  • Ability to manage multiple Research, Development, Testing, and Evaluation projects, including those involving either Mobility, Soldier Systems, Target Evaluation, Visual Augmentation, or Breaching

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
