Responsibilities

As Senior China Intelligence Team Lead, the candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the contract including staffing, financial management, as well as technical and programmatic reporting. They will be responsible for overseeing employees and subcontractors. A familiarity with and ability to manage LOE and completion contract types is key as well as a basic understanding of cost reimbursable contracts. The candidate will direct the work of employees and subcontractors assigned to the team from the technical and administrative areas and provide leadership and mentoring to the team. The candidate is expected to work seamlessly with the COTR and key customer decision makers to maintain the technical/cost/schedule baseline and generate deliverables. The Senior Intelligence Team Lead will work with the customer to define tasks and set expectations.

 

Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines.  Prepare Staffing Plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations. May be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff. Assign staff and provide technical direction as necessary to complete tasks. Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance. Develop and deliver required contracts, departmental, project and/or financial reports. Assist new staff members in starting work on new tasks. Coordinate with Security on crossover and orientation and provide time and attendance instructions and assistance as needed.

Qualifications
  • Expert-level familiarity with threats to China, Taiwan, and Mongolia area of responsibility mission
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field (Intelligence Studies, Data Science, Computer Science, Political Science, or equivalent) with a minimum of 12 years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience supporting Defense Intelligence Enterprise programs, including direct experience managing or overseeing intelligence analysis and collection contracts and production requirements
  • Expert-level familiarity with ICD 203/206 (Analytic Standards), including sourcing, uncertainty, and analytic tradecraft standards; demonstrated ability to enforce and evaluate compliance across subordinate analyst products
  • Demonstrated experience integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) tools and methodologies into all-source intelligence analysis workflows, including operationalizing AI-assisted collection triage, pattern-of-life analysis, and anomaly detection
  • Hands-on experience with Large Language Model (LLM) platforms (e.g., GPT-based tools, classified AI environments) applied to intelligence summarization, entity extraction, document exploitation, and automated reporting pipelines
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise teams of intelligence analysts, including assigning workloads, reviewing finished intelligence products for analytic rigor, and providing mentorship and performance evaluations
  • Working knowledge of defense and production product lines and standards, and customer requirements across the Combatant Command (CCMD) and National Intelligence Community (IC) enterprise
  • Expert knowledge of customer processes, programs, and policies across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, including familiarity with OUSD(I&S), CCMD J2 requirements, and IC analytic community standards
  • Proven ability to communicate complex AI/ML-enabled analytic findings to senior and executive-level government officials through clear, logical, and concise written products and oral briefings
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interface effectively across all levels of government, including SES, Flag Officer, and Senior Executive stakeholders, via written and oral forums
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with IC-specific analytic tools and platforms (e.g., Palantir, Analyst Notebook, Intelink, classified cloud environments)
  • Ability to research and evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies for integration into intelligence workflows, including participation in pilot programs, capability assessments, and analytic modernization initiatives
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly
Target Salary Range$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
