Full Job Description
About the SDK and DICOM Routing

DICOM is the standard for moving medical images across the imaging stack-between modalities, PACS, viewing workstations, AI services, and downstream reporting systems. How well that flow is orchestrated determines whether AI can be deployed reliably at scale: which studies get routed where, how outputs come back, and how everything stays in sync with the radiologist's workflow. DICOM routing is the plumbing that makes the rest of the platform possible.

The Rad AI SDK is how partners across the imaging ecosystem-AI vendors, modality and PACS providers, reporting and workflow tools, and downstream care systems-plug into that platform. It is the surface where partner-generated content (preliminary reports, findings, measurements, worklist signals, and more) flows into the radiologist's reporting experience, and where partners can consume the routing, orchestration, and reporting capabilities Rad AI exposes. A well-designed SDK turns Rad AI Orchestration from an internal platform into an open ecosystem.

Together, DICOM routing and the SDK form the connective layer that makes Rad AI's broader platform real: routing standardizes how images and AI outputs move, and the SDK standardizes how partners build on top of it.

The Role

This is a high-priority role with tight timelines. We need a Product Manager who can move quickly, work cross-functionally, and connect technical execution with a broader commercial and platform strategy.

You will own product planning and execution for the Rad AI SDK and the DICOM routing capabilities it exposes to partners. You'll define the developer experience, the integration patterns, and the routing workflows that let ecosystem partners build on Rad AI's platform. You'll partner deeply with engineering on the technical foundations, and with leadership on how this work supports a credible RSNA story and a broader platform narrative.

Here's what you'll be doing:
  • Own the roadmap and execution for the Rad AI SDK and DICOM routing product initiatives, end-to-end.
  • Define the developer experience for partners building on Rad AI-APIs, SDK surfaces, documentation, onboarding flows, and the integration patterns that make adoption straightforward.
  • Drive requirements and delivery for image routing, orchestration workflows, and the routing primitives exposed through the SDK.
  • Start from what we already have-work with engineering and technical stakeholders to evaluate existing infrastructure and integration patterns instead of reinventing from scratch.
  • Lead partner integrations across the ecosystem (AI vendors, modality/PACS providers, reporting tools, downstream care systems), making sure partners can ship integrations quickly and reliably.
  • Bring partner-generated content-preliminary reports, findings, measurements, and other outputs-into the product in a way that is easy for customers to evaluate and adopt.
  • Drive clear scope, sequencing, owners, and milestones toward a credible RSNA story and launch plan.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure product decisions support the broader platform and commercialization narrative.
You're the right person for this role if:
  • You are a product manager with experience shipping SDK, API, or developer-platform products-someone who has set external builders up for success and is comfortable owning a developer experience end-to-end.
  • You have experience with DICOM, imaging workflows, radiology IT, PACS, routing, or interoperability products (strongly preferred).
  • You've shipped technical platform or infrastructure-adjacent products and are comfortable in dependency-heavy systems and detailed implementation conversations.
  • You are comfortable working across engineering, product, and external partners in ambiguous, fast-moving environments-and you can keep stakeholders aligned as conditions change.
  • You can translate strategic direction into concrete product plans and execution, with clear scope, owners, and milestones.
  • You have strong technical fluency and can operate in dependency-heavy systems, partnering closely with engineers on tradeoffs and integration details.
  • You can ramp quickly and contribute without a long learning curve, meeting the team where it is and adding leverage immediately.
You may be a fit if you:
  • Have built or managed SDK / API integration programs and understand what a great partner developer experience looks like.
  • Have worked on imaging infrastructure, routing, interoperability, or workflow systems.
  • Have run partner or ecosystem programs where external teams build on top of your product.
  • Can keep multiple technical threads moving at once.
  • Are pragmatic about sequencing and dependencies.
  • Can operate with urgency while keeping stakeholders aligned.
Why this role matters

The Rad AI SDK and DICOM routing are the foundation of a broader product bet around orchestration and platform expansion. They are what turns Rad AI from a set of products into an ecosystem that partners build on. We want to move quickly, reduce dependency bottlenecks, and get to a credible market-ready story on an aggressive timeline. This role is the operating owner who makes that real.

Join our world-class team as we build and deploy AI solutions that empower physicians and transform patient care-making a meaningful impact on millions of lives. Driven by our mission, we prioritize transparency, inclusion, and close collaboration, bringing together exceptional people to revolutionize healthcare.
