Summary:

The Tri-anim Curaplex Product Manager will focus on the upstream responsibilities related to Curaplex-branded healthcare and medical products. This role will be responsible for identifying new product opportunities that support Sarnova product branded growth initiatives while ensuring quality, reliability, regulatory compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

The Product Manager will lead new product development projects, while driving continuous portfolio growth and profitability. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders including Category Product Managers, Clinical teams, R&D, Sourcing, Quality and Regulatory Affairs and serve as a trusted partner to support enterprise-wide initiatives.

He or she will also manage existing supplier and manufacturer relationships while driving portfolio expansion through new product introductions, line extensions, and sourcing initiatives. Supplier relationship development and management will be critical to ensuring long-term growth, continuity of supply, innovation, and operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

  • Oversee product development projects working closely with various cross functional teams. Establish themselves as a product category SME and trusted partner within various business units and cross-functional teams.


  • Develop and execute product portfolio strategies aligned with healthcare market needs and business objectives.


  • Lead new product introductions, line extensions, and portfolio expansion initiatives through collaboration with internal and external partners.


  • Manage project lifecycle from concept to market introduction including defining product requirements and acceptance criteria and evaluating project financial aspects including budgets and ROI projections.


  • Review product samples, prototypes, and validation activities to ensure quality, performance, and manufacturability requirements are achieved.


  • Partner with clinical stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and customers to validate unmet needs and support product development decisions. Support Voice of Customer efforts to guide product development.


  • Evaluate emerging healthcare technologies, and new product opportunities to drive portfolio growth.


Supplier Relationship Management

  • Cultivate supplier partnerships, establish KPI objectives, manage scorecards, and conduct business reviews to evaluate performance.


  • Support cost analyses, supplier benchmarking, and scenario planning to support sourcing and product decisions.


  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives that improve supplier performance and operational efficiency.


  • Develop supply continuity, supplier redundancy, and risk mitigation strategies to minimize disruption and support business growth.


  • Lead supplier negotiations and develop commercial agreements using a strong understanding of contract terms and supplier management best practices.


  • Manage resolution of supplier quality issues, production delays, delivery challenges, and support compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.


Skills/Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in product management, product development, strategic sourcing, supplier management, or healthcare supply chain management required.


  • 3+ years of experience working with medical devices, healthcare products, contract manufacturing, OEM relationships, or regulated healthcare environments preferred.


  • Experience identifying, qualifying, onboarding, and managing supplier and manufacturing partnerships.


  • Knowledge of medical device manufacturing, healthcare regulations, quality systems, and supplier quality management preferred.


  • Experience supporting new product development, commercialization, and new product introduction (NPI) processes.


  • Experience negotiating supplier agreements, contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.


  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams, suppliers, and business leaders.


  • Experience leading complex projects and collaborating across Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations, Marketing, and Commercial teams.


  • Strong analytical, project management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.


  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a high sense of urgency.


  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including strong Excel analytical skills and advanced PowerPoint capabilities.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
