Full Job Description
About the role

PIMCO Sales Technology builds the products, platforms and solutions our global sales organization relies on every day. We're looking for a senior product leader to own our CRM product and lead its next-generation reinvention.

CRM is one of the most widely used products across our firm. Like most enterprise CRMs, it centers on a form-heavy, data-entry-driven experience — and AI is changing what people expect from it. Your mandate is to evolve our Dynamics 365 platform toward a headless, AI-native CRM: a strong system-of-record and API layer underneath, with agentic and lightweight interaction on top, so that capturing and retrieving client information becomes effortless rather than an administrative task.

The role is focused on product leadership rather than platform administration. The necessary engineering, AI, and data capabilities already exist; the opportunity is to bring them together under a clear product strategy and a single accountable owner who can shape the roadmap and deliver business impact.

What you'll do

  • Own the CRM product vision, roadmap, and prioritization
  • Define and sequence the shift to a headless, AI-native model — evolving from a UI-centric product toward a data and capability layer that agents, APIs, and purpose-built surfaces consume, closely aligned with sales workflows.
  • Lead a cross-functional product squad**, drawing on engineering, UI, AI, and data teams to deliver against a unified roadmap.
  • Be the voice of the AMs. Build deep relationships with the global sales organization, translate their needs into a prioritized backlog, and use support and usage signal to drive continuous improvement.
  • Deliver measurable outcomes especially around efficiency.
  • AI-native — agentic interfaces, auto-capture, and human-in-the-loop workflows as first-grade product surfaces.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years in product management, including senior ownership of a CRM, sales-technology, or consumer-facing platform product serving a demanding customer base.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
  • A track record of modernizing a legacy or mature product, with measurable improvement in adoption and user satisfaction — not just feature delivery.
  • Fluency in AI-native product thinking: E.g. you understand Karpathy's llm-wiki.
  • Strong prioritization and stakeholder-management skills; you can partner closely with engineering while holding a clear, independent product point of view.
  • Comfort leading through influence in a cross-functional model, aligning teams you don't directly manage behind a shared mission.
  • Direct experience with Dynamics 365 or a comparable enterprise CRM and its data model.
  • Financial services, investment management, or asset management domain experience.
  • Background bridging product and data.

Why join

You'll lead a high-visibility transformation of a product used across the firm, in an organization that is investing in AI-native engineering and product development. This is a rare opportunity to define what an enterprise CRM becomes in the AI era — and to do it with engineering, AI, and data talent already in place to execute.

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.

Salary Range: $ 250,000.00 - $ 305,000.00
